What exactly was the Second World War, and what did it have to do with Alsace? In this module, primary school children can discover the answer to this question in a fun and engaging way. Under the guidance of a team member from the JBS Albert Schweitzer, they can work together on a craft project to create a timeline that provides an overview of the events of the Second World War in Alsace and in the town of Niederbronn-les-Bains. In this way, children gain an initial insight into the period of the Second World War, as well as the impact of the war on individuals. School classes can take the poster they have created with them to use for later work in class.

Afterward, the children are welcome to take a tour of the German war cemetery in Niederbronn-les-Bains.
